TCC Board of Directors
We are a diverse group of individuals from various walks of life including finance, education, construction, medicine, technology, entertainment and media all with a passion for the TCC, its mission and vision and supporting the broader Dallas arts and non-profit communities. We are dedicated to serving this organization ensuring the mission and vision are first and foremost in all we do including the long-term financial stability, success and future growth of the TCC. We sincerely thank you for your interest in potentially becoming a member of the Turtle Creek Chorale Board of Directors. We are always looking for prospective board members who have a passion for the Chorale, music, the Dallas arts community and those who want to put their skills, knowledge and energy to good use. We are excited to learn about the experience, knowledge and skills you can bring as a valued advisor to our great organization. As a member of the Board, there are a number of ways in which your expertise can be leveraged to advise, support and guide the TCC while ensuring we hold true to our Mission to Entertain, Educate, Unite and Inspire. This includes:
● Using your professional and personal networks to help open doors for:
○ Fundraising or other financial opportunities
○ Public relations or community awareness
○ General organizational or administrative needs
● Serving as an ambassador of the TCC within the public and especially within the Dallas arts and non-profit communities
● Attending regular full Board meetings and committee meetings in person or virtually
● Serving on one or more of our Board committees including; Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product, Diversity Equity and Inclusion / Education and Community Engagement
● Attending all Main Stage performances and support Small Ensemble performances
● Attending Rhapsody, TCC’s annual fundraising gala - no speeches, no awards, typically featuring a headline performance - Idina Menzel (2020), Audra McDonald (2022), Patti LuPone (2023)
● Supporting TCC’s educational initiatives including the You are Light Project
● Lending fiduciary and advisory knowledge to staff and members within TCC’s Mission
● Meeting a minimum $2,500 give-get which could be achieved through direct financial support, concert ticket purchases or through donating your time and talents to TCC
